Greetings! My name is Dara, and I proudly hail from Lynn, Massachusetts, though I now reside in the vibrant city of San Diego, CA. I have been happily married for ten years and am the father of two energetic boys. My wife and I are active duty personnel in the United States Navy, serving as Chief Personnel Specialists. Our multifaceted roles encompass customer service, managing pay, personnel, and manning. Additionally, I work as an information systems coordinator for my command, providing critical IT support and managing IT assets. However, due to limited capabilities, my role often involves tracking trouble tickets alongside my primary duties related to military pay.

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. As I approach retirement, I am exploring opportunities in roles such as System Administrator, Tech Support Specialist, or administrative clerk. With over 20 years of experience managing people, I look forward to enjoying a stress-free retirement focused on my family. This course of study will equip me with the technical skills and knowledge necessary to transition smoothly into the IT field and achieve my career aspirations.
